Snow Cancellations!

Due to the road conditions and the forecast for more snow and freezing rain this morning, all of our classes for Sat. Jan. 21st have been cancelled. We will resume class next Saturday and will add a makeup class to your session. We hope everyone stays warm and safe today! If you are A current student and are having any problems with your dog or questions about the training you’ve started, feel free to email us and we will be happy to advise.

Also please be aware that our Sunday session (agility and Nosework) are also cancelled for this week. See you next week!

If you haven’t yet looked it over, go to our Calendar and see what’s on the lineup for this year!

Our next Canine Good Citizen class begins Thursday evening at 8:15. We still have opening in this class for three students. Consider taking this class to further your dogs skills, prepare them to take the Canine Good Citizen
evaluation, and as a lead-in to our Therapy dog class and program.

Finally We currently have requests for a daytime Novice Obedience class and a daytime conformation Handling class. If you are interested in such a class, email Wendy for details!

Hi Everyone,

We hope the New Year is looking bright for all of our students and clients! On that note, our best wishes go out to our freestyle instructor Joanne Warrick, who’s recovery from surgery is taking a little longer than anticipated. We are hopeful that our Freestyle Dance class can be added to the schedule for February. We will be offering both a daytime class (Monday’s at 1:00 pm) and an evening class. Our wishes for a speedy recovery to our student Pat, as she recovers from an ankle injury. We are also looking forward to welcome back Roberta, after her recovery from her knee injury! We hope everyone stays healthy and sound in 2012!
Many of you have been calling about our 2012 schedule. Our dates have been set through the first half of the year, and we’ve been hoping to have them posted on our website by now. However, our webmaster seems to be MIA. In the meantime, feel free to call or email and we will provide you with the dates for the classes you are interested in. We apologize for the inconvenience.
Speaking of this years schedule, we have several classes beginning soon that are not typically offered year round. We have a Canine Good Citizen class on the schedule and will follow this class with a Canine Good Citizen Evaluation. Our Just For Fun Pet Agility is also back on the schedule and offers three options for classes based on your dogs size and ability. We also have a Therapy Class scheduled. Finally we will have two sessions of our Controlled Canines class, with the first one starting January 12 th. If you’ve been interested in one of these classes now is the time to sign up!
Our popular Annual Membership Programs are back and are now being offered to our Family Dg Students as well. An Annual membership allows you to train here year round for one reasonable price. Please email Wendy for details.
Finally, for our conformation students and breeder friends the Mason-Dixon Bernese Mt Dog Club is nice again holding their annual Health Clinic at our school this Sunday Jan. 8 th beginning at 9:00 am. They are offering CERF eye exams, Cardio exams, Microchipping, AKC DNA, and Vet Gen VWD testing. FMI contact Christine Vlassis cmvlassi@lghealth.org or (717) 293-0901
